Your Rights

Your rights after you have been in an auto accident are that you can have your car repaired at a shop of your choice. It’s your car. No one can tell you where to have that vehicle repaired though your insurance company might make some suggestions.

My husband and I are happy with the service, employees which we dealt with, and the quality of repair work done on our vehicle. We have recommemded AutoCraft to our friends and would definitely come to you with our business should it be needed in the future. Nancy & Robert Bartenstein

Every large insurance company has shops that are approved. They have their direct repair facilities, which means they’ve been approved by the insurance company. The insurance company looks at the equipment, etc. They’ve done all that research for you and approve those shops. It doesn’t mean you have to use them.

Just remember, it’s your car. It gets repaired at a shop of your choice. I would ask friends and neighbors for references. Do a little homework. Make the right decision for your car.

Your rights under Florida State Law are as follows:

This is your vehicle and no insurance company or independent adjustment company can tell you where to fix your car! It's your car, whether leased or owned, and should be repaired at a shop of YOUR choice. Sometimes your insurance company will suggest a shop or list shops that they endorse. This is only a suggestion and the ultimate choice is yours and only yours. Remember this is your car, and you have to live with the repair and the repair shops quality. Pick a shop based on their warranty and customer service. Here at Autocraft, we offer a Life Time Warranty and have been in business in Collier County for over 24 years.
